Miami has grown to become a hub in the sneakerhead culture, thanks in large part to the King and the many incarnations of his kicks. When you spot Sprites, South Beaches, or Freegums the matching fitted caps are usually right there with them, so it’s no surprise that the New Era Flagship store opening on South Beach this Saturday is generating a lot of hype.
Those accustomed to camping out for their gear can snag a card good for a year’s worth of 30% off purchases, a Miami snapback and tee for the first 100 through the door. There will be other giveaways throughout the day too, so it’s definitely worth droppping by. DJ Irie, hopefully riding high off a Heat road victory tonight, will be spinning as well.
