While all of South Florida spent their weekend partying excessively and irresponsibly, we were enjoying the great outdoors and getting some exercise. Then we partied excessively and irresponsibly.
Just north of Miami where dayglo and spandex-clad hordes gathered for Ultra, yet another mob of costumed crazies gathered for the Superhero Scramble in Oleta River State Park. P81 was on hand for some team building activities in the shape of sprains, scrapes, bruises, fear and a hefty dose of adrenaline.
There’s an addicting quality to pushing one’s physical limits by jumping over barbed wire or traversing a cargo net 30 feet in the air, especially when it seemed impossible before. But really, it was easier than enduring about 7 hours of Paul Van Dyke later that night. Just ask this guy.
